Summer has finally arrived and with the blessed sun come heat and sometimes heatstroke. Staying cool and refreshed has become almost and unhealthy thing, with all the ice creams, sugar loaded Popsicle and cheap ice cold pop. As this year I made a weight loss goal and resolution, and as I am still struggling on my way to my target weight, staying clear all these temptations and still keeping cool this summer was looking like a challenge. As I have had Popsicle molds before and I know from experience that they can be quite messy, they tend to fall over and spill in my freezer before they set, making a mess that requires me to clean my whole free range standing freezer. I was pleasantly surprised by this mold as it came with a stand, so the Popsicle stay in position till set. Now male healthy Popsicle as an alternative to all the other sugar and fat laden treats is now possible for me. I can definitely do without the whole freezer hose down too. I have tried 2 recipes so far and I am loving it. I cannot wait to entertain guests with these this summer.
